Workshops
Workshop I
February 2006

The first workshop of the network will serve two purposes. Firstly, four main presentations will discuss major themes of the network: the restructuring of the Nigerian state in a comparative African perspective, the changing relationship between state and society, and changing forms of political and social organization, not the least in the urban areas. Secondly, the workshop aims at mapping current research on Nigeria in the Nordic countries. This will be done through brief individual presentations of the participants in the network
